Why did we start INVIZA® Health? We want to help people to become more healthy, more fit, and safer too!
We do this with wearable tech that goes everywhere with you, in a comfortable shoe insole. It self-charges as you walk and takes your vital sign measurements from your foot, which provides very accurate readings.
The Founders are world experts on sensor design, and we know that the wearable health and fitness trackers of the market today are inaccurate. For instance, the Top 8 smart watches/bands/rings calculate burned calories with 27-93% inaccuracy (research study completed at Stanford University). Counted steps are highly inaccurate too, because the wearable tracker is on your arm or hand. Many measured parameters and vital signs are problematic as well, because the optical sensors are not self-contained inside a closed environment (like a shoe; see the last paragraph as to why this matters).
So, the Founders do not feel the wearable tech companies today are providing their customers with the highest quality health and fitness tracker products possible. Yet, most people trust these companies because of the company's trusted brand name ... why would these companies' put products on the market that are not accurate? Well, we consumers all know the answer, to make money. Money is why any company is in business (including ours), yet their products sold should do what they say they do and as accurately as possible, especially when it comes to your health.
The Founders of INVIZA® Health know of many people, friends, colleagues, and family members who are not as fit as they could be or are sick or have died as result of illnesses or other tragedies (see next section about the people who have unintentionally inspired us). This is quite upsetting. So, it is INVIZA® Health's mission is to provide highly accurate wearable trackers at an affordable price, which also self-charge their battery for the wearer's convenience.
Our first wearable tech product is Inviza®Sole 1.0 smart insoles that harness energy from your footsteps. The more the user walks, the less they have to recharge their wearable tracker's battery. It's a win-win: walk as you do anyways –> become more healthy and fit –> and never have to deal with the nuisance of recharging again! Plus, the optical sensors used to measure your vital signs are more accurate, less finicky inside an enclosed shoe (e.g., no external light sources and they come to a constant temperature), and they can see-through your socks too!
